Curiosity and a Google search led me to this OUTSTANDING site!! I Joined Keppler in 1960 as an Ensign right out of OCS, served under Captains Bagby, Vitucci and Dusek, and was released to Reserve duty 1n 1963. As a "boot" Ensign, I was given the duty to edit the MedMidCru '60 Cruise book, so your inclusion of the whole book on this site brought back many memories. Would love to see any writeups of the tumultuous year 1962, when we started out during the Berlin Crisis, while doing refresher training in GTMO, and not only went to the Med, but patrolled for the '62 America's Cup races and of course the Missile Blockade in October... Keep up great site...Name: LTJG Robert A. Broder
