Ahoy Mates, I served 70-72 decommissioning our great ship. Came aboard a little to late to Chat, figured I'd leave a message to say I'm looking forward to seeing some of the crew again in Nashville. Wish we could get all who served aboard the Mighty "K" on a Cruise or a picnic.

Joined the keppler crew in 1969 , Transferd to DDE Reasoner after west pac 1971. Served in EM shop as FA Then EMFN . Who knew those broad side salvos could tear up the aft head so bad. What ever happened to "RED" Marstiner ? Enjoyed the trip To Co Co Beach Fl for Sub escort duty. Not so much when the only boiler on line blew just hours into the Pacific from Panama. Hours adrift with NO power,Engin room was HOT as hell!
